The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.
Main Responsibilities
Required to maintain necessary logs, driving records, and DOT certifications
Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle
Driving assignments in a timely and safe manner
Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor and/or manager.
Requirements:
Two years of driving experience with safe record
Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
Maintain qualification to drive as mandated by the Department of Transportation
Thorough understanding of hazardous materials pick-up and delivery procedures
Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations with an emphasis on the Hazardous Materials section of the regulations
Must be able to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and holidays. The Crude Oil Transportation business is 24/7/365
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time driving
Must be able to bend, lift, carry, connect, disconnect, mount, and dismount heavy pieces of equipment (i.e. commercial grade fuel delivery hoses) and without creating a safety hazard
Maintain authorization to load and unload product at facilities we conduct business with once authorized in the training process
